Transparency and Trust

One of the biggest reasons people feel disconnected from politics is the lack of trust. Scandals, broken promises, and backroom deals have left many believing that politicians say one thing and do another. Too often, decisions are hidden behind jargon and closed doors, leaving the public in the dark.
Reclaim believes that trust can only be rebuilt through complete transparency. That means no secret donors, no hidden agendas, and no empty promises. Policies and decisions will be made openly, and every member will be able to see how they were decided. If we say we are the people's party, then everything we do must be visible to the people.
We also believe in accountability. If a candidate or representative breaks the trust of their community, the people should have the power to hold them to account - not just at election time, but whenever that trust is betrayed. Reclaim will push for mechanisms like recall votes and local accountability forums to make sure those chosen to represent the people never forget who they serve.

Unlike the old parties, Reclaim will publish where our money comes from and how it is spent. We will be clear, open, and honest - because the people of Britain deserve nothing less.
Membership of Reclaim is free, and it gives you a direct say in how we work and what we fight for. By joining, you're not just adding your name - you're becoming part of a movement that insists on honesty in politics.
Of course, running campaigns, producing materials, and standing candidates takes resources. We refuse to be bankrolled by corporations or wealthy lobbyists. If Reclaim is to be the people's party, it has to be funded by the people. Even a small donation helps us stay independent and make politics transparent again.
Together, we can rebuild trust in politics by demanding openness, honesty, and accountability. That's what true democracy looks like.
